Transforming lives through compassion, community, and commitment.
Good Hope Uganda was founded in 2010 by a group of passionate individuals who witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by rural communities across Uganda. What started as a small volunteer initiative to support 20 children with school supplies has grown into a comprehensive development organization touching thousands of lives.
Our journey began in the village of Kabale, where we saw children walking 10 kilometers to school without shoes, families drinking from contaminated water sources, and women lacking opportunities for economic empowerment. We knew something had to change.
Today, we work in over 25 communities across Uganda, implementing sustainable programs in education, healthcare, agriculture, and women's empowerment. Our approach is simple: we don't just provide aid; we partner with communities to build lasting solutions.
